Oppo is said to be preparing to debut its Reno 9 series smartphones. The device has already been the subject of multiple leaks and rumors recently, and now a well-known tipster has divulged the specifications as well as a few other information about the smartphone.
The rumored Reno 9 will include a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Aside from that, the smartphone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a single center punch hold for the selfie camera.
Aside from that, the tipster claims that the phone will have a 64MP primary shooter on the back and a 32MOP sensor on the front.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor with 12GB RAM is also expected to power the Reno 8. We anticipate that this will be the top-tier option, with Oppo also offering the handset in different RAM and storage configurations.
In terms of battery life, the handset is expected to be powered by a 4500mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities. This is where things get a bit murky because the Reno 8 supports 80W fast charging, and if the story is true, the Reno 9 will have a downgraded capability.
It is crucial to note that Oppo has not officially published anything about the Reno 9 series as of yet, and it is unclear when the smartphone will be released.
